Back to Work....

Wedding's over. I miss looking at wedding stuff :) Bora Bora was relaxing - we went jet skiing, snorkelling, kayaking, and we had a jeep safari tour, helicopter tour, a private motu bbq, as well as a romantic candlelight dinner. Before we left, we also got a couples massage.... that was really nice!

Then we went back to Taiwan. Reception was fun. I was kind of stressed out about what dress to wear but it all worked out fine . I wasn't used to the tradition, but it was still fun. The food was very good and I got to see lots of people!!!!!

Honeymoon

Andrew and I have just booked our honeymoon trip this past week. We'll be going to Bora Bora - I am super excited! :) After our honeymoon, we'll be flying back to Seattle and work for a week before we fly back to Taiwan! It'll be about one and half year since I last went back.... I'm pretty excited since I haven't seen my family for a long time!

2007's almost over. There has been so many things going on.... I feel that I finally have time to sit down and relax a little. After I found a job in WA and moved, it's just been crazy moving in and out of the hotel for a month, then finally moved to the house! Took awhile to unpack and settle down... Getting used to new job, new coworkers, meeting up with old friends and making new friends, and taking exams, while trying to plan the wedding.

But I finally found my wedding dress! yay

This week's been pretty good. I found out that I passed my exam on Friday, then my boss told me I could go home early. That was really cool since it was still light outside when I got home, I took Anna out for a good walk. I also met up with Ernest for lunch today (haven't seen him since high school), and Andrew's coming back tomorrow just in time for Christmas! It's too bad that Andrew's grandpa passed away though . I thought he would be able to make it to our wedding.

It's snowing in WA....

Yesterday's the first time I've really seen snow besides going snowboarding. I really love how everything's so white and pretty. Unfortunately we also got into an accident a couple blocks near home due to slippery roads :( The worst thing is when Andrew called our insurance company for 24-hour Roadside Assistance, we found out that no towing companies are willing to come out to tow cars on a snowy day! Progressive then suggested us to call the police to help, but police doesn't want to come out to help either! I was quite annoyed since those are the times we need them! Fortunately, people in the area helped pull our car out and got us back onto the road. I don't think I ever dare to drive when there's snow again!

Our Wedding!

So we've finally set a date for our wedding - 6/14/2008. And it will be at the St. Regis Monarch Beach. We also have a wedding planner - so far I really like her and I'm pretty excited about meeting her in person this coming November!

Other than that, nothing has been decided for the wedding! :) But I don't feel worried anymore because Jeannie seems so on top of everything!

Anyway, studying's been hard for me.... I just can't seem to focus these days after Shella got engaged. Her engagement got me all excited about wedding stuff!

I've moved to WA for over a month now and it's finally starting to feel like I have some time for myself other than moving in and out of the hotel, driving around taking care of stuff. Although I have to say that I miss the hotel's breakfast (waffles)! haha

The new home is very nice. It feels very comfortable driving towards the garage because it has such a big front yard. Andrew's parents furniture for the living room is so nice it's hard for us to pick out the rest of the home's furninture! :) I guess I finally understand how hard it is to get everything set up in a home even if it's completely new!

Anyway, Andrew's in Northern California now, and I miss him already even though it's only been two days! It makes me wonder how the past year went by while we were apart.

Moving to WA

I've accepted an offer in WA and will be moving up there before the end of this month . Yay~ I can't believe it's been almost 10 months since Andrew moved away.... I think we've been spending too much time at the airport! I am so glad all this traveling will finally come to an end.

Anyway, I've found an apartment up there. Now we just have to figure out what house to buy and find a wedding planner to take care of the wedding stuff since we'll be having a wedding in sunny Southern California

I must study.

Anyways, the plane tickets are so expensive and sold out for the next two weekends that Andrew and I won't be able to see each other for almost three weeks :(

Busy Weekend!

Andrew's coming to LA this weekend and we're going to be so busy! Visiting grandma on Friday night, snowboarding on Saturday, and attending Festival of Brides on Sunday as well as getting my setting replaced! That doesn't sound like I'm going to get much studying done this weekend.... I hope we can decide on a wedding location this time, so I don't have to worry about any wedding stuff before my exam ! Anyway we'll be visiting Ritz-Carlton in Pasadena and we'll be deciding between that and St. Regis.

I'm moving again this weekend!

I'll be moving to another apartment this weekend. I'm so glad I'll be out of this apartment (for people who want to live in Simi Valley, don't live in Hidden Valley Apartments ). This apartment has the worst sound-proofing ever, and if you get noisy neighbor like mine who's still in the process of getting evicted, you'll totally regret it!

Anyway, I'm going to go pack now!

House Shopping in WA

Andrew and I went house shopping in WA. It made us so tired - driving around all day (well, Andrew was driving around all day while I napped in the car, so I'm not sure why I'm tired still....)

Thanksgiving Weekend

This past weekend seems like we're just eating non-stop. We cooked Shabu Shabu the night Andrew arrived LA (we just had to get a shabu shabu pot after we went to Mike and Weili's). Then we went to my aunt's for Thanksgiving dinner the following day and she cooked a 19-POUND TURKEY!!!

Shabu Shabu

Weili and Mike had us over for dinner on Saturday night. Weili prepared Shabu Shabu and it tasted so good I can't stop thinking about it. Afterwards they watched Grey's Anatomy with us even though they've already watched it! I kind of want a TV now.... I think I forgot how good it is to have a TV until that night.
